nice to meet you
Hi, I’m Abby.
I’m a mom of three, lifelong creative, former art teacher, interior designer, and the founder of The Little Art Bus. For more than 20 years, I ran a marketing and branding company, helping businesses discover their voice, tell their story, and connect with their communities.
Art has always been part of my life. At 23, I was teaching abstract art classes to women who simply wanted a creative outlet and a reason to gather. Years later, I taught art in New Mexico, and even stepped in as my own kids’ art teacher when their school didn’t have one.
As a kid, I was always the one getting in trouble for talking too much — I’d miss half the instructions because my mind had wandered, then feel embarrassed when everyone else seemed to know exactly what to do. But art was different. There were no wrong answers. No perfect way to do it. Art gave me confidence at a time when I needed it most.
Over the years, I’ve learned that creativity isn’t really about the finished project. It’s about confidence. It’s about connection. It’s about giving people permission to try something new.
The Little Art Bus started with a simple idea: what if we could bring art directly to kids instead of waiting for kids to find it?
Because the truth is, most kids don’t need another lesson. They need encouragement. They need confidence. They need a place where they can create freely, be themselves, and discover what they’re capable of.
My hope is that every child who steps onto The Little Art Bus leaves a little more confident than when they arrived.
Welcome aboard. ♥
